Importance of Managing Your Time

What is Time Management?

Time Management is the art of organizing, arranging or scheduling a task which is fit for the purpose that will lead to  achieve our goals in most effective and efficient manner.

Why is Time Management Important?

1. Time is Limited resource.
Time is limited because no one can store time for later use. Everyday every one gets the exact same amounts of time. If you failed to use it wisely, you will never get it back.

2. Time is scares.
Most people feel that they haven't enough time to do tasks. People feel that because of their poor management, poor finance, fail to achieve goals, too much stress etc. If you can manage time you can have the maximum benefit of time.

3. Need time to achieve your targets.
Waiting for more free time is a loosing game that almost never results in getting time for what you want. The perfect way to overcome this problem is with out waiting for perfect moment, take the moment and make it perfect.

4. Giving priority at work.
For a day there are too many tasks to do in order to make it a successful day. To make the day successful priority or a hierarchy is required, for that you need some sort of plan to make intelligent choices.

The innovator is Often the creative generator of a team. He or she has a strong imagination and a desire to be original. The innovator Prefers to be independent and tends to approach tasks in a scientific way. Axis an individual the creative innovator may play a Crucial role in the way a team approaches tasks and Solves problems.

The Debate

The Debate was according to the topic "Teachers Ruin Student's Creativity"
Rather than this topic most debaters argued on the topic which is the " Theory behind 2+2=4 ", which is a point brought out by the Proposing team. So the Debate was not successful as we expected.

At the end Opposing team won the Debate and Mr.Rehan and Ms.Maneisha explained the way of conducting a Good Debate and what are the requirements needed to have a Strong argument.

My Opinion on the Topic ...

The word " CREATIVITY " refers to the ability or power to think about innovative ideas. There are several pros and cons on this topic, (Teachers Ruin Student's Creativity). My idea is not only teachers but parents, society and other parties also ruins student creativity. It mainly depends on the person who guide the  student.
As we talking about Teachers ruin creativity of students, think about a student who makes Hand made cards. It is totally  depend on the student's creativity. If a teacher or the one who guide the student give a Negative feedback, the student will be demotivated and He/She might give up everything. In that scenario there is a chance of loose their creativity.
If a teacher or the one who guide that student can give a Positive feedback, even though it is not up to the students standard level, it help to create innovative ideas about hand made cards in student's mind. Then the student tend to do something better than what He/She did before.
To sum up every teacher and every person who cares about student should give Positive feedback towards the student rather than giving negative feedback. Then No one will ruin student's creativity.

Bloom's Taxonomy.

Introduction.

[coe.uga.edu]
Bloom's taxonomy is a method of learning. In 1956 Mr.Benjamin Bloom found three domains of educational activities which are useful to teachers as well as students.

     Mr.Bloom's three domains of educational objectives are as follows;

      1. Cognitive Domain. (Knowledge)

      2. Affective Domain. (Attitude)

      3. Psycho-motor Domain. (Skills)

1. Cognitive Domain.

This domain include the Intellectual skill (Ability to understand) and the Knowledge. Mr.Bloom identified six levels within the cognitive domain.

The six major categories, starts from the simplest behavior to the most complex behavior. In other words recalling facts to the evaluation.

The six major categories are as follows,

[unisa.edu.au]

                  1.1) Knowledge. (Re-calling)
This defined the remembering of previous learned material. This represents the lowest level of Cognitive domain. Some keywords for knowledge are definitions, describes, labels, lists, names, repeat etc.

                  1.2) Comprehension.
This refers to the ability to understanding the meanings of learned materials. Some keywords are classification, explanation, identification, locations, summarizes, reports etc.

                  1.3) Application.
This defined the ability to use learned materials to solve problems. Some keywords are charts, demonstrations, illustrations, interpretations etc.

                  1.4) Analysis.
This refers to the ability to outline major points by breaking down them into simple points. Some keywords are calculations, analyses, break down, categories, contrasts, limits, subdivides etc.

                   1.5) Synthesis. (Creative)
This refers to put parts together to form a whole which is express a new or creative meaning. Some keywords are adapts, combines, creates, designs, develops, organize, substitutes etc.

                   1.6) Evaluation.
This defined the ability to make judgement or decisions of material based on given purpose. This represent the highest level of the Cognitive hierarchy. This includes some keywords such as judges, decisions, justifies, argues, evaluations, compares, contrasts etc.

Bloom's Revised Taxonomy..!

In the 1990, one of the Benjamin Bloom's students, Lorin Anderson revised the original Bloom's Taxonomy. In here the names of the major Cognitive process were changed to indicate actions (Active engagements).

This can be clearly shown by following below charts.

Old Bloom's Taxonomy.

The Cognitive process were changed to Indicate actions.

The Revised Bloom's Taxonomy.

2. Affective Domain.

Affective domain refers to the response towards learning, punctuality, experience, feelings, emotions etc.

    2.1) Receiving.
Student pays attention and learn study materials.

   2.2) Responding.
Student actively participates in the learning process.

   2.3) Valuing.
Student try to attach some values to learning.

   2.4) Organizing.
Student try to combine values, information and ideas to express what has been learned.

   2.5) Characterizing.
Student use his/her learned values to their behavior. So that, it becomes a characteristic.

3. Psycho-motor Domain.

Psycho-motor Domain refers to the ability to use hands or performance or identify. This can be alternatively known as "Physical movements". Development of Physical movements can be measured in terms of speed, precision, distance, procedures or techniques which carries out.

3R Concept

Something Creative  by following Concept 3R.

  R- Reduce.
  R- Reuse.

  R- Recycle.

Mr.Rehan asked us to create something innovative by following 3R Concept. My idea was to create a "funky pen".
To make it I used a empty pen,ink reservoir, sequins and water as resources.
It can use for write and it also can keep as an ornament.
